Suncream for face that doesn't encourage spots

Usually I will buy face suncream separately (Boots No 7) but find after a couple of uses it clogs my pores and I end up getting spots or bumps.

My skin type is combination, very oily on nose and prone to blackheads/spots.

Eucerin Face Sun Fluid looks promising but who knows!

I was recommended Biore Watery Essence facial sunscreen on here and it is brilliant.

Korean/Japanese sunscreens are v popular as they're usually less greasy, more "cosmetically elegant". La Roche Posay is a popular French and UK high street brand. These are ones I’ve seen recommended time after time:
⁃ Biore Aqua Watery Essence (does contain some alcohol, so maybe not for drier skin).

  • Nivea Water Gel spf 50 - huge bottle, good value. Gel- like so disappears into skin.
  • La Roche Posay Anthelios facial mist or ultra fluid lotion
  • Etude House Mild Airy (or Mild Watery for drier skin) Finish SunPrise spf 50
  • Missha All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk SPF50+/PA+++ (70ml)
⁃ Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel ⁃ COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++, 50ml

THIS is why I've suddenly got bumpy pores on my forehead and all over, I couldn't work it out. I was using Superdrug facial sunscreen.

Brilliant, thanks so much for these recommendations! Mrs9C I had the same problem last year, took me a while to figure out it was the suncream!

I have exactly the same skin type as you and have recently bought this:

m.lookfantastic.com/vichy-ideal-soleil-anti-blemish-corrective-care-spf30-50ml/11393003.html?affil=thggpsad&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl7Twmurd2wIVxbDtCh2GBgZjEAQYAiABEgIghfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CO-44Jzq3dsCFXAe0wodO2UFgw

It's very light and not greasy so can be worn under make up without looking like a white mask.

I will personally vouch for La Roche Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine SPF50 - it's amazing, especially for oily skin. It never breaks me out.

LockedOutOfMN · 18/06/2018 19:58

I love the La Roche Posay SPF 50 stick. It is white but more or less comes out transparent on the face (you can get a slight whitish streak so it's worth just checking in a mirror to see if any areas need a quick blend in). It's light and easy to apply but has good lasting power.

La Roche posay anthelios anti shine

Another vote for Bioré Watery Essence.

I also read a lot of good things about the Missha one mentioned above.

Ooh great, I will have a look at all of these and pick one that suits my budget and not tested on animals.

I don't usually wear sun cream in the UK so this is more for my holiday in Cyprus.I don't usually go as high as 50 spf and a lot of the above recommendations are...maybe I could just apply at hottest times.
