Dry, patchy skin- what can I use?

A few weeks ago my the skin on my arms was quite bumpy, and I put it down to heat rash. The bumps have gone but the skin is now patchy and white- I look like a zebra, its so bad. People stare at my arms so I am covering them up- not great when its warm. I moisturise them twice, three times a day, but they are so dry. The skin nearer my underarm looks like its peeling (definitely not sunburn).

What is the best thing ever for dry skin? I have psoriasis so you'd think I would be an expert, but I'm not! I really don't want to cover up but the attention I get is awful.

Sound like it could be eczema.

You might need some steroid cream to clear it up and Evening Primrose oil to take as a supplement. Best talk to your GP of pharmacist.

I do hope its not- psoriasis is bad but to have eczema too?!

I will speak to the pharmacist next time I pass, thanks Chardonnay

Child's farm moisturiser is the best! Cleard my sons eczema right up and i use it for me too. Fab stuff.

I hope it isn't!

Horrible thing, I just had some but it's clearing up now, I hope.

I used Childs farm on my scalp as my psoriasis is there but never touched it. I will give the moisturiser a go. I slather stuff on and then three hours later its dry- urgh!

Try this. I also got a rash/eczema flare up from the sun which didn't fade as it usually does. It has been very soothing and the eczema is healing.
