Reccomend me an evening date bag

Hi all. I have recently come out of a 22 year relationship and have started dating. I think I need a designer date bag!

To all who think ££ bags are a waste of money etc etc please don't comment - each to their own and all that.

I am willing to spend up to £1k. I am obese but tall. But teeny tiny bags on long straps look silly. My usual outfit is skinny jeans, heels, Bardot style top, long hair and good make up.

My everyday when not at work bag is my Anya Himmarch (sp) vere stachel in plain navy and I love it. For work I have the mulberry double zip Bayswater in oxblood.

For dates it needs to hold my large phone, keys, standard wallet, lipstick and compact.

Please help!

I like the YSL chain handle bags. They're practical yet a bit bling for a night out. But I think they're cross body.

The Gucci Marmont is lovely, and worth the money I think, but may be smaller than you like

Oh yes, I second, a Marmont! Might be slightly over budget though.

I really like Mullberry Clifton, when the strap is short, for dressing up.

From your other bag descriptions you seem to like structure. Perhaps a Burberry Banner?

I prefer bags you can dress up or down. Good luck in your search (and dating!).

I'd go with a really oversized clutch bag as so classic you can dress up and down and use again and again.

Right &co. I am in love. Who needs a new man when you could have the Gucci bag you guys showed me.
