Would you wear these together?

I’m off to ascot this week and have found a dress I love but am struggling with shoes and a fascinator.

Do you think these go together?

the dress is lovely but I'd offset either the fascinator or the shoes in a different colour - so match dress and fascinator but go for different shoe colour, or vice versa. The shoes as shown look a bit in between to be honest.. Do they do those in black and then go for a flash of colour on fascinator (or vice versa..)

Fascinator- no no no. That dress is crying out for a large black hat.

Shoes- go for a colour, same style but maybe in a teal or pink?

Bag- black

Earrings- colour from your shoes.

Facinator is dreadful everything else is great

Notcontent · 16/06/2018 22:53

Yes, I agree - lovely dress but not the fascinator!!!

Thanks everyone!

The dress is navy blue rather than black, does that change your answers? Sorry didn’t realise the pic wasn’t clear.

I can't stand fascinators and the shoes are unexciting. Sorry. The dress is ok I was pleased to hear it was navy not black.
Are fascinators compulsory?

offupop · 17/06/2018 02:04

What about this hat? The blue in real life is very dark like your dress

I like that hat. Smile

Stripy dresses look cheap - like they were £20 from misguided in the sale - the redt is lovely

OhTheRoses · 17/06/2018 02:16

Hat needs to be navy. You will be on your feet, on grass all day. Your shoes need to be v v comfortable otherwise the pain will show in your face.

OhTheRoses · 17/06/2018 02:16

Dress is lovely.

Sealant · 17/06/2018 02:20

Head wear is compulsory, not necessarily a fascinator.

To be honest, I’m a new mum who isn’t entirely comfortable with my new body. I needed a dress which would hide my mum tum and be discreet in case of any milk leakages as I won’t be feeding all day.

I like that hat but feel it’s a bit showy for me, I want to look nice but don’t want to stand out in any way.

I love the dress. Nice shape and pattern.

Atalune · 17/06/2018 09:43

dress is lovely, lots of people will be in hats, so you’ll blend in!

I think the whole combo with the hat will be very elegant.
