Felt Tip Eyeliner Recommendations

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent mid-range eyeliner please, preferably felt tip as I find those easier to use! (I struggle with certain fine motor skills like applying eyeliner)

I have tried:

NYX Matte Liquid Liner
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (liked this but seemed to run out quickly)
Collection Extreme Bold Calligraphy Liner (don't like this one at all)
Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner (didn't feel this one was pigmented enough)
Maybelline Gel Liner
Barry M Liquid Eyeliner
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

Reading that list I sound very fussy, maybe I'm looking for something that doesn't exist! It might be that I need to spend a bit more perhaps. Thanks for any recommendations.

I like the eyeko one

OakIsBetterTho · 16/06/2018 10:51

I've tried a few a lot of eyeliner pens and I always come back to soap and glorys supercat, the standard one not the skinny one as that dries out too fast.

Processedpea · 16/06/2018 10:53

smasbox liquid liner it's ace and lasts forever

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 16/06/2018 11:44

I use the brown one from No7. It's not amazing but it's very easy to correct with a damp cotton bud and has a soft, slightly smudgy look (basically as if my lashes are a bit thicker than they really are) that lasts nearly all day. Most of the ones I've tried that have been reviewed as being fabulous are a bit too precise and obvious for me. I like to look a bit blurry! So I think it depends on the look you're going for.

Helpimfalling · 16/06/2018 11:46

Agree with @OakIsBetterTho soap and glory fat cat black

AnnieOH1 · 16/06/2018 11:48

I love the wing stamper thing from Rimmel but reviews seems a bit marmite. :)

youvegottobekidding · 16/06/2018 12:29

Another vote for the Soap & Glory Supercat one.

Violetroselily · 16/06/2018 12:36

I recently picked up Rimmel Scandaleyes pen at the airport in a hurry and I really like it

It has a fine tip so is very easy to control

moleeye · 16/06/2018 12:39

Soap and glory here too! Treated myself to an expensive YSL one which is nice enough but cannot beat soap and glory supercat

Goldmonday · 16/06/2018 13:54

Just bought the number 7 one and it's shit, the end isn't thin enough so it's like drawing on your eyes with a felt tip pen.

The best thing IMO is a pot and brush, mac do a really good one but I also think max factor and the like do them too. it seems intimidating to use at first but is super easy and I think easier than the felt tip ones.

Goldmonday · 16/06/2018 13:54

Will be trying the soap and glory one after the posts on here!!

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 16/06/2018 14:04

Another Soap & Glory Supercat fan here. Easy to apply, very black, good staying power and nice and cheap. Can’t go wrong.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 16/06/2018 14:15

Mac do one in a tiny wee pot. I’ve had them and applied using a fine brush. I like Rich Ground. I’m not great with the felt tip pens.

WinkysTeatowel · 16/06/2018 15:00

I love the L'Oréal Superliner, it's the only one I can get a decent non-wobbly line from!

Threeminis · 16/06/2018 15:28

I have this one https://m.eyeko.co.uk/skinny-liquid-eyeliner/11318082.html which is pretty good.

Pls19 · 16/06/2018 15:31

Soap and glory Supercat for sure! I've tried many high street and high end eyeliners - always end up coming back to my old faithful!

BlondeB83 · 16/06/2018 15:31

Not felt tip but Benefits I Can’t Believe They’re Real eyeliner is the best and easiest I’ve ever used and I’ve been sporting flicks for the last 15 years!

BlondeB83 · 16/06/2018 15:31

Actually 20...Shock

Flightywoman · 16/06/2018 15:32

The Asda one. Seriously, it's dark, stays on, the felt tip is thin but flexible enough to get a thicker line if you want, and it's cheap as chips!

It's been a revelation and I swear by it now.

newmummysw · 16/06/2018 16:33

Wow some great recommendations here, thank you very much!! I think I'll start with the Soap & Glory one & go from there!

Hmmm I bought Supercat after all the recommendations on this thread, just tried it and distinctly unimpressed, it's not very precise or dark...I'll give it a couple more days but suspect I'll be back buying my L'Oreal Superliner next week!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/06/2018 23:50

I bought a Revolution (Superdrug) liner pen , bronzey gold packaging ('cos I'm shallow)
I don't use as a liner but its brilliant for tightlining, really stay put

LockedOutOfMN · 23/06/2018 00:02

I like the HEMA ones. The colours are really nice.

baremini · 23/06/2018 06:16

The Stila one is my favourite, I have repurchased many times and never use anything else.

Alicatz66 · 23/06/2018 06:28

I'm not good at eyeliner !! Had almost given up then discovered Clinique .. Pretty easy eyelining pen.. it's brilliant
