I wondered if any of you S&B ladies could help me?
I need a dress for a night out - it’s just drinks but everyone is making an effort, so think night in town rather than wedding.
I’m a size 12-14, hourglassy, big boobs and shoulders, little bit of a tummy. Good legs from the knee down and ok higher up. I don’t like my arms but as it’s summer will probably have to accept that I won’t find anything with sleeves that I like.
I can’t wear:
High necklines
Shapeless things (they make me look 2 sizes bigger)
I like vintage inspired styles but they have to be subtle - nothing costumey or with a cheesy print (Lindybop is out). Open to non vintage styles too - just need inspiration.
Please help - my friends are all stick thin and I feel enormous when I go out with them. I know I’m only about average but they’re all size 6 or 8 so it knocks my confidence.
