Help me with clothes dye!

I’ve seen a top I like on eBay but I know the colour will look dreadful on me! Would it take dye? It’s 68% cotton, 28% polyamide and 4% elastase. Please say yes! 🙏🏼Not sure if it’s relevant but it’s a sort of salmon pink colour.

Depends. Off the shelf dylon stuff probably wouldn't work. The cotton would take but the polymide won't. You know the machine stitching you can see on hems and stuff? That would probably not dye the same colour either.

You can get polyester dyes but I've never used them.
