Basically what the title says? I'm looking to sign up to a monthly beauty box as a little pick me up/treat to look forward to every month. I'm a mother of 3 under 6 so don't get myself many treats.would love to know which boxes you prefer and why? Would be a great help!

It is just dun to get something for me every month
Absolutely shiver at the ones sending sanitary products ..

www.skinorganicsbeautybox.co.uk
Skin organics.
A bit more expensive than some but you get stuff from independent makers that you've never heard of and the lady who runs it is fab.
Plus, you can stop and start as you want.

I was thinking Birchbox actually, will go look on their website! Would you say it's worth the money?

Birchbox is quite good, and I particularly liked it for the first year-18 months I had it, after that it got a bit samey. The points/reward system also changed about a year ago and isn’t as good. I no longer get a monthly box, but do occasionally buy individual items.

Since cancelling my subscription I have got 3 of the M&S beauty boxes (2 summer and 1 Christmas) and have liked them. One of the problems with Birchbox was that after being signed up for quite a while I had built up a stash of too many products. Getting a box twice a year from M&S has worked better.

I get 2. Birchbox and Look fantastic

Birchbox is more cosmetic based and most of the brands are well known e.g. Benefit and Model Co

Look Fantastic is more skin care based and a bit more high end. Usually chuck in a copy of Elle magazine too.

Do like my beauty boxes it gives me a chance to try products before commuting to buy and also introduces me to brands I'm unfamiliar with.
