Eyeliner for crepey eyes

So I've never had taught skin around my eyes and now I'm older it's worse of course.
I like the look of eyeliner I've seen on other women, under the eye as well as on top but a pencil just won't work, it just drags the skin.
Any tips or products that might work? I don't particularly want black but I think a dark grey or any cool colour might look OK. Idiot proof as well. Glimmersticks from Avon look promising.
Any thoughts?

I find the Pixi eyeliers are very good - they are really soft. I bought a blue/black one today from m&s . i have black and a very dark purple already.

Ere Perez Jojoba eye pencil in Stone. Smoky slightly metallic grey that is dark enough to define but forgiving round the fuzzy edges.

Dr Hauschka black kohl pencil also good if you keep it sharp. It’s very soft so unfortunately it’s a nightmare to sharpen. You have to stick it in the freezer for a hour first or it just breaks offin the sharpener. If you keep it in the fridge permanently it drags when you try to apply it.

Stila eye liners are great for a good sharp line. Gently hold the skin if you need and apply. It's also waterproof but comes off with any cleaner and little or no rubbing,
They come in a range of colours too including black and brown. I've got the dark Burgundy which is a lovely colour.
