I think the accessories are wrong? Something is wrong!

The trousers are tight across the thighs, so they flare out more at the bottom

formerbabe · 15/06/2018 19:29

Pockets on the trousers look wrong to me. Combined with the fastening, it looks too fussy.

3dogsandcounting · 15/06/2018 19:29

Have you any black strappy sandals. I think perhaps that would look better.
You look good in the trousers and top.

Wanderwall · 15/06/2018 19:31

Not too keen on the trousers sorry. Agree black strappy sandals might looks better.

I think the trousers look a bit casual for the rest of the outfit?

mumof2sarah · 15/06/2018 19:31

You look lovely OP, reallly suit that style, I'd probably change the shoes for black ones to match bag but it does look lovely xxx

Racecardriver · 15/06/2018 19:33

Shoes aren't rifht

itsBritneyBeach · 15/06/2018 19:33

Agree with PP, the outfit is lovely but I'd opt for black shoes if you have any! Very summery Smile

formerbabe · 15/06/2018 19:33

I think side fastening trousers with no pockets and belt loops would look better.

LynetteScavo · 15/06/2018 19:33

It looks meh, like you're just out visiting a friend you know well. I wouldn't call it an "outfit" but neither is it offensive.

The trousers don't fit very well.

The shoes need to be black to tie the outfit together, or you're cutting yourself in half. Are you going to have any accessories?

Mokepon · 15/06/2018 19:35

agree with change the shoes for black. the trousers don't look like the greatest fit but it could just be the angle of the photos.
where is the top from please, I really like it?!

pickledsausage · 15/06/2018 19:35

Thanks all for your comments & honesty. Any suggestions on what sort of trousers would look better please? Have a 5 month old and everything just looks a bit wrong at the moment

I think you look lovely and cant believe a couple of the comments on here!

halfwitpicker · 15/06/2018 19:38

The belt on the white trousers just looks fussy. Remove it or add a gold/silver one.

Mokepon · 15/06/2018 19:38

Personally if you wanted that sort of flared shape I'd have them longer. I think the length isn't doing you any favours.
Or if you want them cropped/ankle I'd go for a more fitted style.

BlondeB83 · 15/06/2018 19:38

You would look better with more slim fitting trousers and black shoes.

pickledsausage · 15/06/2018 19:39

@mokepon thank you, it’s topshop, maternity 😂🙈

@pickledsausage I would literally just change the shoes! You look gorgeous, honestly I'd happily wear that outfit and I'm a fussy so and so when it comes to clothes! (Currently trying to find a similar top and trousers to those you're wearing)

itsBritneyBeach · 15/06/2018 19:39

It definitely is an outfit OP, by definition - items of clothing worn together! I think the trousers look really good, but if you wanted something lighter maybe some cropped wide leg culottes? New Look do some great ones that have a wide bow sash on, or have a look on ASOS, there a load in the sale!

What's the outfit for?Smile

formerbabe · 15/06/2018 19:40

I'd wear very simple black trousers, but don't listen to me, virtually all my clothes are blackGrin

halfwitpicker · 15/06/2018 19:40

I've got similar trousers but they're cream and I wear them with silver heels and a navy top.

That top would look nice with 7/8 cigarette trousers or skinny jeans, depends on what you have really.

fifipop185 · 15/06/2018 19:40

You look as good as this 5 months after birth?! Wow OP! Totally misses the point

formerbabe · 15/06/2018 19:41

The top with the necklaces looks lovely.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/06/2018 19:46

Don't tuck the top in. That's what looks wrong. Try and find a top that is a bit longer just mid pocket on your trousers. Keep it slightly fitted though on the top and not overly loose.

pickledsausage · 15/06/2018 19:47

Was trying avoid skinny jeans/slim trouser as I’m rather large of thigh (hence the pull on these ones!) and thought this wider leg style would balance me out a bit.

Off to have a look on ASOS!

Guiltypleasures001 · 15/06/2018 19:48

Oh shit

Sorry op didn't mean to infer your thick of thigh😟
I think trousers that are tighter around the ankle, peddle pusher type maybe
