Has anyone had Botox to fix a downturned mouth?

Did it work? Could you still feel your mouth to smile /talk properly etc? How king did it last? Did you also have fillers?

Many questions!

I'm trying to work out whether or not to go for this procedure, so any comments or recommendations would be so helpful!

Ok. So, it’s not good lighting but I think the nuface is doing something in terms of “sag”. I’ve had it 3 weeks and they say give it 60 days or money back. I don’t want to look younger. I am 56 and just want to look less tired and stressed.

Tbh, I couldn’t financially commit to Botox and fillers and as I’ve said, injecting anything into my face is not a good idea with my allergy history. Too many trips to A&E!

@Bairnsmum05 I go to a dentist in EK. She is fantastic and trained in Royal College of London or such like, I can't remember but was impressed when looking into it all. She's currently going through a brand new qualification with them and will be one of the first in the country to have it. I trust her implicitly.

princesstiasmum · 16/06/2018 23:16

I am having fillers around mouth and above lips for lip lines on monday
I also have a Nu face exerciser and cant see any difference,i have had it for about 7 months and use it most nights, very disappointed really
Had fillers before and they made a big difference

Bairnsmum05 · 16/06/2018 23:34

Hairy can you please give me her contact details-message me if you’d prefer. Many thanks.

hairypaws · 16/06/2018 23:57

@Bairnsmum05 how do I message you?

hairypaws · 17/06/2018 00:11

@Bairnsmum05 I figured out messaging (can't when using app). I've sent you info.

Bairnsmum05 · 17/06/2018 09:21

Many thanks for that.

Princess, I suppose for me, I WANT it to work because I can’t have anything injected and I do see my face rapidly going south. I have a friend who regularly has Botox and she does look (not so much) “younger” as kind of serene, untroubled. I’d never go under the knife as I’m too scared of it going wrong so, the only thing left is home use devices 😐

Good luck, OP. Hope you’re happy with the results, if you go ahead.

princesstiasmum · 17/06/2018 11:56

Jackie your pics do look slightly different, so maybe it is working for you,i am much older than you so maybe will not be as good for me
I had a trial of a Dermawand, you can get one on 30 days approval and return it if not happy,i did return it, because really i have lost faith in these things, although having said that,my skin did look fairly glowing after use, but maybe that was the warmth from it

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 17/06/2018 12:19

It’s all smoke and mirrors, I guess Princess. I CAN see a difference but that’s cause I spend cold hard cash and WANT TO! I’ve had it 3 weeks so, I’ll see where I’m at a 6 weeks 😊

PugwallsSummer · 17/06/2018 17:56

auntyjackie you look wonderful - your skin is lovely!

Be careful it doesn't end up like this.

Thanks. I never appear in public without makeup so, it’s they’re very rare photos indeed!

I think because I’m doing something it’s better than nothing.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 17/06/2018 20:16

Vitalogy that’s exactly what no one wants.

PugwallsSummer · 17/06/2018 21:04

vitology 😵 is that from Botox? Crikey - that's not the look I'm after! Who is that lady??

PugwallsSummer Her name is Joyce Meyer. I saw a clip of her talking, it looks more pronounced than the photos. Apparently she has spoken about having plastic surgery but not sure if she's mentioned the specifics.

LemonSqueezy0 · 15/09/2018 14:34

Have been looking into this, as I'd like to fix my down turned mouth and fix my so called 'resting bitch face'! Has anyone subsequently gone on to have this done? Was it a success?

slinkysaluki · 15/09/2018 18:02

Those two last pictures her mouth looks like the Jokers 😮

Dorothyrae · 01/06/2019 05:58

Can anybody tell me where to get affordable botox near Gerrards Cross or Slough?

Lyd555 · 27/07/2019 14:39

My friend had botox at a dental practice in Shepherds Bush and the results were amazing - www.idental-london.com/botox-wrinkle-reduction-shepherds-bush.html - worth checking them out !

Paragal · 30/09/2019 14:39

PugwallsSummer I'm looking in to this atm. Did you ever get it done?
