Ruined Burberry Trench - what should I do

Hi all! Just trying to get some help. I've googled a lot and nothing came out. My partner has got a really nice Burberry trench coat in beige colour and metallic buttons. However he soaked it with vanish and soap so he could get rid off those stains in the neck and it came out completely stained/bleached like. Any suggestions on what to do? We could possibly get it all dyed in black but any sorte of professional places to take it? Or is it completely ruined that cannot even be dyed? Any advices really appreciated! Many thanks Xx

Take it to a specialist cleaner and see what they can do with it (probably should have done that in the first place!).

I washed mine in the machine on gentle and it was fine. I checked on mumsnet. However, if i had bought full price i would have taken a lot less risk and gone to the cleaners. Speak to a professional dyer/cleaner. and pay their price... it'll be cheaper in the long run.

Contact Burberry themselves. They can strip the coating off the trench apparently. Worth a try.
