Men’s cropped trousers / no socks look

DS has bought some white Ralph Lauren jeans from TK Maxx and wants them turned up in this (to me) hideous style. Do I do it with a straight hem or a turn up?

Don't you just roll them up hipster style? That's what the young'uns where I work do. And also wear proper shoes and no socks!

KingscoteStaff · 14/06/2018 22:20

That’s what I thought, but he is sure I need to cut and hem them...

Definitely roll them, cutting and hemming is wrong for this look. Ds2 is very fashionable, He and all his friends are all about bare ankles and trousers that look like they shrank in the wash! I must say it has grown on me, I like it now!

Oh god no, they shouldn’t be cut. They need to be rolled.

Dh is total fashionista, wouldn’t be seen dead in cut off ones. Grin

I think I know what your DH is after OP but he needs to stat off with a large baggy pair of jeans to do that with, with large side pockets so they look like they are meant to be 3/4 length as opposed to rolled up or just cut off. Like a 3/4 combat style trouser but in denim.

Possibly, I could be completely wrong.
