What do you recommend? I've lost a lot of weight and need new jeans ....

Hiut, they are expensive but I love them!

Topshop Jamie skinny jeans are the only jeans I can find that fit my curves a treat.

I was going to say Hiut Denim too. Great jeans, real denim.

Another vote for fat face straight leg here - they fit nicely and wear well. They do some nice garment dye ones as well if you get bored with blue!

Hiut again, but there's a waiting list. Lovely denim, sustainable Welsh company. You may like to look at Community Clothing (I haven't tried them yet) if sustainable UK manufacturing matters to you; word is that they are good too.

Another vote for Levi 712. It’s a slim leg style. The amount of stretch varies between the colour washes, but I managed to get one in 98% cotton which feels like proper old fashioned denim. I’m a pretty curvy size 12 and it is a reasonably good fit on me, but not as good as the much mourned no longer stocked bold curve range.

Gap and Topshop are my favourites

Levi's 711 Some salas can be quite nice as well.
Cheeper ones are river island Molloy

Another vote for the Boden Trafalgars if you have chunky legs/bum and small waist.

Now I need to find some skinnies that have reasonably thick denim and aren't going to go into holes within a year...

Monki Jeans hold their shape and colour really well
Diesel are pricey but last for years
H&M are weird on the sizing but once you've found some that fit are really good.
I like Zara jeans too, but I've always had to take them up

I'm a next convert! Got a gorgeous pair of black boot cut jeans in a 10L. They are very flattering. They are the ones that lift and shape you and they are smart enough for work too.

Next, lift, slim and shape range! £45 so a wee bit pricey but so worth it, fit really well and keep their shape.

I know you said regular leg OP, but can I ask how tall you are? I'm 5' 3", but if I'm wearing them with flats or runners then I have to get the short leg as regular are quite long. I have a regular pair to wear with heels.

They're excellent though. Wash well and hold their shape.

Madewell, Salsa or 7 if I’m splashing out. Recently got amazing jeans from Mint Velvet and Esprit but had to go down a size with both.

Jack Wills Fernham skinnies are the only jeans that fit me, I am 5ft 4, straight up and down and find jeans very tricky. Can't wear high waisted, they make me look hideous.

FrangipaniBlue a bit £££ and quite a young look but Good American are perfect for that.

Surprisingly, the M&S Mom Jeans are my absolute fave - so flattering and comfortable!
