could I wear this for a wedding?

It's not a big lavish wedding. I have this dress which fits really well and is quite flattering (unusual for me to feel good in something). Do you think if I wore black sandals and something over my arms that it would be suitable or is it too casual? It's at the end of July.

not having much luck finding an alternative that I'd feel comfortable in and would wear again.

Wear it, it’s absolutely nothing like a bridal dress!

I went to a wedding at the weekend, was just a courthouse thing, but someone wore a white jumpsuit. I was absolutely shocked. She's on our guest list and I'm dreading her wearing the same thing!

Way too casual imho, a cute dress but not for a wedding

It's a really nice but I do agree you'd feel uncomfortable if you wore it to a wedding. As others have said, some people do get sniffy about the colour.
I wore a cream background dress with a pattern of lots of black spots to a wedding once (weirdly it never occurred to me that the dress was cream) and even though there were some people there in blush -which actually looked far more bridal to my mind than what I had on - I did get a couple of 'comments' on it.

I think that if it was a little more fitted and the straps thinner it might be possible to dress it up, but there will be people there in full on formal. And because you are asking, you aren't 100% sure about it and you deserve to feel great in whatever you do choose to wear 🙂

There are a lot of nice dresses on ASOS at the mo.
