Yes, I know that it’s polyester BUT it doesn’t look it - it has a very matt finish, it’s lined, it’s washable and it doesn’t need ironing. It’s flattering! It comes in 15 million colours. I’ve had so many positive comments about it. It looks much more expensive than it is. It’s a winner.

It only comes in black and blue?

Processedpea · 13/06/2018 20:58

it looks like a funeral dress Grin i guess if you work somewhere very straight and corporate though

I am a big fan of dresses for smart office wear, no coordinating tops and bottoms, easy to wash and dry and generally no ironing, add a cardi or suit jacket as necessary, some smart shoes, nice jewellery and you are sorted. I would wear that dress.

Mailfuckoff · 13/06/2018 22:02

So spent 30 mind on website trying to order some dresses and it crashed on me so all lost! Grrrrrrr

Pinkvici22 · 13/06/2018 22:32

I love it! But its OOS Sad

BowKay · 13/06/2018 22:45

It is painfully bog standard OP and very very corporate but if it works for you then that's great, with dresses like that they often don't look like anything until you see them on so its hard to tell as the photo is basically a black polyester sheath.

TheOnlyAletheia · 14/06/2018 07:08

I think that the word is “classic” rather than “bog standard” 😉

Im an accountant so its my kind of thing. In fact would want to hide sleeveless with a suit jacket.

However for that price i assume its unlined and that cheap fabric wont last.

Im more of a hobbs person for work attire (unfortunately theyve got more polyester over the years).

Is qualitt decent OP?

TheOnlyAletheia · 14/06/2018 07:59

Yes, it is - it’s lined.

I usually wear Jaeger or Cos and it’s really not far off that quality.

zennudist high five the accountant. Yes to having a jacket over it

Deathraystare · 14/06/2018 09:15

The kind of thing I am drawn to cos it would not suit me at all! Audrey Hepburn, yes. Deathraystare Nope!
