DH likes Cos but he works in the arts so doesn't mind dressing like an architect!

BumbleNova · 12/06/2018 19:40

Have you heard of Spoke? My husband literally buys all his clothes from there. Some Boden knitwear too. Crew clothing for casual shirts.

Racecardriver · 12/06/2018 19:43

DH is fond of (and looks delicious in) Ted Baker. John Lewis own brand also do nice inoffensive things and Ralph Lauren (but some of the colours are horrible and it can be overly branded so you have to be careful.

LadyFuschia · 12/06/2018 19:52

But what is his look & what kind of lifestyle does he have? Dp gets most stuff online as he can’t find nice stuff on the high street and he likes to look fairly trendy but with good quality pieces.

Glitteryfrog · 12/06/2018 20:05

Hipster ish DH wears
Ted Baker
Checked shirts from the local skate shop
Fred Perry
He quite likes Pretty Green but hasn't actually bought anything
He also wears a lot of band teeshirts.

BangingOn · 12/06/2018 20:14

DH is older than that but shops from lots of different places- Fat Face, All Saints (their plainer clothes mostly), Whistles, Reiss, Paul Smith, ASOS and Zara are probably his favourites.

OCSock · 12/06/2018 20:50

DH is much older (and a very non standard size). He wears Levi jeans or chinos for work, with either custom shirts (cheaply made by Indian tailors in nice cottons) and a tie for meetings, or work-branded polo shirts for every day. He looks presentable in most settings, is always comfortable, and most important to him, doesn't have to think about it.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 12/06/2018 21:02

'Preppy' DH likes Hugo Boss for workwear, Ralph Lauren for polo's and casual shirts, Abercrombie & Fitch (for jeans and chinos mainly, and v neck sweaters) He also likes cashmere jumpers from Johnston's of Elgin and more country stuff from Le Chameau and John Norris

nervousnails · 13/06/2018 08:17

my DH is a Joules fan. Also wears a lot of John Lewis shirts and ASOS chinos.

niceupthedance · 13/06/2018 08:23

Oi Palloi
Uniqlo
Stussy
Son of a stag

LadyPenelopeCantDance · 13/06/2018 08:26

All Saints, Ted Baker, Reiss are all good.

There is a new start up website called Thread where you put in where you normally shop and what styles you like and it suggests things you might like. DH has found it has picked lots that he really likes but may have over looked.

zoobud · 13/06/2018 10:41

Thanks for these, just spent an hour on thread

My DP tends to buy t-shirts and basics like chinos for work from ASOS.
He gets a lot of shirts from Uniqlo and Muji as they do nice linen ones for the summer (he gets hot and prefers light linen ones!)
For jeans he like Diesel ones which he normally gets from House of Fraser when they have a sale. He also has quite a few trendier patterned shirts from Linea at House of Fraser and French Connection.

Thanks everyone - just got dp a load of new stuff Smile
