Decent quality t-shirt dress

Has anyone seen any decent quality (i.e. not super thin poly) t-shirt dresses this year? Ideally reasonably long as I'm 5'10 - I got one from boohoo tall which fits perfectly but it's gone bobbly after about 3 wears so would prefer something better quality!

And ideally in olive green or another plain colour.

Thanks!

I am looking for the same thing! So far I have only found the Dorothy Perkins ones but they are polyester. I don't know how thin they are as I can't find any reviews online.

It's so hard isn't it! I want one without any kind of waist tie/shaping.. I enjoy looking like I'm wearing a sack when it's really hot!

The best I have found so far is uniqlo but I'm not in love with the colours there either

Uniqlo have a couple that are great quality and not too short

Ha snap, I missed the last sentence when reading

Oasis. Rainbow dress. Love it!

hestia2018 · 12/06/2018 12:59

I'm looking for one with a bit of waistline! I got cotton ones from DP a few years ago but now they are all polyester :-(

hestia2018 · 12/06/2018 13:01

Do you mean this one?

Looks nice but it seems quite tight fitting? I prefer mine a bit baggier for the hot weather

No answers but looking for the same! That one with the waist would have the 'waist' just under my boobs and the hem just under my arse (6' tall) so has to be tall or made a bit longer with no waist so it fits. I also have a Boohoo one from last year & I've just bought a Hush one - there are some nice options on there, bit pricey though.

Landsend generally have mainly cotton.

Might also be worth trying Weekday, I can’t vouch for the quality as never ordered but iirc they have a lot of plain, unstructured type dresses tho’ quite a few with lyocell(breathable) rather than mainly cotton

And Gap prob worth a look though they do tend to like a stripe!

Zara have loads of dresses at the moment. I bought this one in khaki and grey, large. Iget loads of nice comments and the fabric isn't too thin. They do have a low waist detail, but its quite flattering

Decent quality t-shirt dress

Joules have some, look quite decent quality.

H&M

Jumping in as I think I am after the same, I want a jersey swingy shifty kind of dress, rather than anything fitted. Will have a look at links.

bornonvalentines · 12/06/2018 14:53

I saw some IRL in Joules yesterday, but they were £60. Ridiculous!

allertse · 12/06/2018 15:55

Wow thank you for all the suggestions! I will have a proper look through them all this evening but at a quick glance I think there's one on Lands End which looks perfect (and not too ££ at £35). Just need to measure myself as never bought from them before and their size guide seems more generous than most! Anyone have any experience with their sizing?

Not bought from Landsend for ages and it used to be mainly kids stuff when I did but yes, they tend to be generous, not sure if that’s because they’re American. Actually, that’s a thought, check it is Uk rather than us size you’re ordering!

Monki?

Peachydream · 12/06/2018 17:14

I've had one from Joules and This one from Weird Fish. It has pockets Grin

I've recently bought the hush ivy dress although I plan on wearing mine with a belt but it is very much sack like. I'm a size 12/14 and I bought the xs which fits fine
