Urgent - is this dress interview appropriate?

I have an interview tomorrow.
I was going to wear trousers but the top I ordered was late and turned out to be a disaster.
I have this dress and navy shoes.

Good luck! I used to be a civil servant and that dress is totally fine for an interview. You don't need a jacket.

Good luck for your interview OP. Dress looks fab! Wouldn’t bother with a jacket and you wouldn’t necessarily need tights with it either. I’m a civil servant too and that is defo appropriate. Let us know how you get on 😃

Yep, lovely dress and definitely interview appropriate. I would just wear a simple silver/gold necklace, thinnish tights and either low heels or flat shoes.

I’m sure these are all things you’ve got and you can grab in 5 minutes. So relax tonight and do a bit of interview prep in the morning. Most importantly...relax.

Thanks everyone. I picked up a pink jacket today. It looked perfect with the dress and I wouldn't have thought of pink for an interview before I started this thread.
The interview went well. I felt confident in my outfit and it really helped.

Have you had any feedback from the interview? Not about what you wore of course, I just wondered how it went after you mentioned that you felt confident.

I'd say it's quite generous fitting. I'm between 2 sizes and bought the smaller of the two and I have plenty of room in it.

I'd think it would. I'm 18-20 and find the 18 very comfortable.
