Ballet-back (low back) tops - for work?

Quick question
Those scoop back tops that are everywhere. Would you wear one to work (smart casual office) or are they like flip flops showing off what didn't ought to be? I want some boat neck tops but all I can find is these low back ones.

this kind of thing

I think the one you’ve linked to is absolutely fine. As a general rule of thumb I think if you can wear a normal bra then it’s probably OK. I was envisaging the styles with large cut-outs in the back, which would not!

I think the same as Struggs, if you can wear a normal bra, then its fine.

Agree that a normal bra means it’s fine, if you’re getting into sticky cup territory then it’s not suitable. I have worn tops like the one you linked to dozens of time to work (fairly formal office), normally with a skirt and blazer but I wouldn’t think twice about removing the blazer if I was hot.

Thanks I just had a moment of doubt!

I have two of those Jigsaw ones and wear them for work (relatively formal).

I have a couple of the Jigsaw tops you've linked and wear them for work, absolutely fine Smile

Honestly nobody tapped you on the shoulder and asked if you'd put your top on back to front? Great!

Actually my daughter asked me exactly that the other day. What does she know, though?!Grin
