Help me find summer work trousers!

I need a pair of summer work trousers, up to £50. Thin but not linen or anything that needs a lot of ironing. Smartish but reasonably hard wearing as work involves mess and sitting on the floor sometimes. Any ideas?

Marks and Sparks sell some nice cotton chino style ones that look smart.

I love the look of freshly ironed linen but after about 10 minutes it just looks really scruffy!

Yep, sounds like m&s or Gap chinos are what you need.

I have bought a number of the M&S £35 7/8 trousers- black, navy and mustard. They are smart enough for work and comfortable.

Thanks! I will have a look. I’m a petite size 12 and don’t iron in case that affects your answers!

A bit out of the budget but I bought some Frances trousers from Hush. They were £65 but don't crease at all and are very lightweight.
I was a bit concerned as they have an elasticated waist, but I have worn them with tops that cover the waist.

The petite M&S 7/8 are lovely (wish I’d bought more than 2 pairs now!) - mine were £25

Great Plains light weight are keepers.

Gap bistretch ankleskimmers are great and keep their shape. Get the cotton ones, not the polyester!
