ORS Curls Unleased coconut and avocado Curl Smoothie.

It says it’s free from sulphates, and I don’t think there is any silicone or drying alcohols.

Cg purist answer: no due to the methosulfate

Non purist answer: yes, it looks great!

Thanks Teaaddict. Could I use it with a sulphate free shampoo or would I get build up?

You can use a sulphate free shampoo. The behentrimonium methosulfate maybe responsible for drying out the hair; although the largest quantities are the first 5 ingredients, so the negative affects of the methosulfate is negated in itself.

Behentrimonium methosulfate isn't a sulfate the way sodium or ammonium laureth/lauryl sulphates are. It's a conditioning agent, not a cleansing one, and is pretty mild.

Thank you!!

It’s a minefield!

Have you seen the no poo Facebook page? They're helpful too!

That looks lovely by the way...

One thing I will say about ORS is that although the products are good, they're designed for black or biracial hair so they can be heavy if your hair isn't thick. I tried their gel and conditioner and found they weighed my hair down too much.

I have an oil from the hairdresser, I think it's basically almond oil. i presume almond oil if I bought it from a health food shop next time would be compatible with CG?
