Best eyeliner for waterline - long lasting

Hi all,

I'm very pale and have small eyes that are round / a bit down turned. I've been putting make up on wrong for years (too much, too dark, done in a way that makes eyes look tired and even smaller).

I've just bought mac "wedge" eyeshadow to draw my eyes up and out without adding colour.

Another tip I was given was to put white eyeliner on my water line / white eyeshadow in inner corner (would have to subtle or I'll look silly). I tried a Rimmel one and I blinked it off almost instantly !

Any suggestions for super long wearing waterproof eyeliner ?

I've also stopped liquid eyeliner in favour of a dark brown smudge of eyeshadow above my upper lashes. Any other tips for making small piggy eyes look wider welcomed!!

Have you tried 'tightlining' ?
I've just discovered it myself , I bought a REvolution eyeline pen (the golden coloured case because I was drawn to it) and an ELF eyeliner gel (but the brush is too chunky , I got a thin one from NYX)

You draw on the upper lid under the eyelashes on the rim.
It makes a huge difference , adds dimension but doesn't close my eyes like a liner on my upper lid does.

White eyeliner is a blast from the past , I used to have a liquid white liner in the 80s
