Primark is absolutely rammed with beach bags at the moment.
If you want something a bit longer lasting, M&S do lovely rattan and embellished bags for the beach.
I've been using this across body bag day and night, another M&S goodie which I've used for a year or so now.
Accessorize used to do really nice embellished cross body bags which are a bit easier to use with kids and pushing buggies etc.

Have a lovely roomy Joules beach/pool bag.

Small leather cross body for trips out/flight

Small neutral natural leather clutch for eves.

Neutral leather handbag - very plain so goes with everything.

Canvas beach bag in pastel shades from Accessorise.

I agree, Primark have a great range of summer bags at great prices.

Notmorewashing · 09/06/2018 14:06

Thanks will check out primark.

Would like a leather evening one. This could be used in UK in spring / summer after

I'm a big Mia tui fan at the moment

I've used their clutch bag (often free with bigger bags)

The foldable bag for the beach

Rucksack for day (but I do carry lots of kids stuff)

I thought this was going to be about those £10 breaks to Pontins you get in The Sun Grin

My local primark beach bags are vile, nice cross body cheap options though.

Want something I can chuck everything in but able to zip up

The one I liked to above has a zip top Smile

tierraJ · 11/06/2018 19:44

For my holiday I have a large beach bag from Accessorize & an embroidered cross body handbag from Next.

tierraJ · 11/06/2018 19:44

My beach bag has a zip top too & cost £25

donaldtwerp · 11/06/2018 19:54

Beach bag always LV neverfull. It's indestructible.

Evening / day is the Gucci soho

keyboardkate · 11/06/2018 20:24

I slum it and make it work for me.

Nice brightly coloured (lightweight) backpack for daytime/beach, hands free, and a little zippy leather crossbody for nightime.

I do it for me, not for those looking on. They don't care, too busy looking at themselves!!

Enjoy your hols everyone.

storynanny · 11/06/2018 20:36

I’ve got a navy Kipling bag which is like a tardis! shoulder straps and a cross body strap strap. I think it is called Orelie or similar. Goes in the washing machine when I get back.

Jules11011 · 12/06/2018 02:41

For beach stuff always check out the Australians. I have this one - thebeachpeople.com.au/collections/bags/products/linen-tote-bag
for the beach stuff - a smidge over your £15 but so much cooler than anything else I've seen. And like @storynanny says you can chuck it in the wash.
And then a nice cross body bag so you can look like a grown up. Or better a cross body bag you can take the straps off and use it as a clutch.
I also have this one which I love, and works brilliantly day to night for that reason.

Bloody not on sale when I bought it...

I use bags that I am quite happy to abuse and throw away later. Grin
