Are 'soft footbed' Birkenstocks worth it, or is there not much difference?

Ive tried some in a shop but they don't stock the colour I want, hence I don't want to go back again to simply try on. There is about a £15/20 price difference between the two so I wondered if it really was worth the extra? I want to get some Boston clogs in brown leather and think, as I'd wear them loads in the house as well as out, that the soft footbed is a good idea. I have Arizona sandals in the regular footbed but...

I love the soft footbed. Much much better in my opinion. I have a normal pair and a soft pair. I reach for the soft everytime. They are like slippers and no breaking in!

Totally worth it. I can’t wear the normal ones, but love my soft beds.

I have the normal ones and they're really hard! Go for soft ones if you're going to wear them a lot (they last forever). Your feet will thank you.

Thanks - soft ones ordered!
