Is there a transitioning to grey thread?!

And if not does anyone want to join me here? I have decided to grow out my dye but I am finding it really hard and feeling very grumpy. It's ridiculous I know, it's only hair! I think I wasn't expecting it to be quite as grey as it seems to be coming through (I'm only 33). I've put some pics of how it is now and think I will do a sort of photo diary thing. Maybe I will cave soon and just dye it again but I am quite interested to see what it would look like at its natural colour!

Feel free to join me Smile

There are a few threads on here about Embracing The Grey (I'll try and scout some out and bump them)

I did the same , about 18 months ago, I CBA using my henna after having it cut the day before we went on holiday. I was meh nobody knows me and the sky won;t fall in. I did let the grey come through (my hair is short though) .......but I didn't like it and switched to semi-permenant dyes.

Much easier than permenant in that it doesn;t have the obvious regrowth. Less messy than henna.

I'm early 50s but not quite ready to be grey yet Wink

I'm 36 and have been letting nature takes its course over the last few years.

I am about a year in at the age of 43. There have been a few threads on here and they tend to recommend the Instagram grombre and Facebook Gray and Proud groups. I'm on both but tend to engage with the FB one more often. Lots of tips about products and techniques to cope with transition. Grin
