Swimming stuff for my new minuscule post DC boobs

Post pregnancy and breastfeeding, my boobs are teeny. Essentially flat. All dresses, tops etc hang strangely/gape/ make me feel awful, unless I wear seriously padded bras. But at least when I do I look “normal” (to me).

But for swimming/on holiday, short of a boob job - which I am looking into - which bikinis or costumes are there out there which have hefty padding (and I mean something to boost flat chest/empty sack of skin to a B cup at least) and which I won’t fall out of? I have tried some but the padding isn’t nearly enough Sad I guess because I have nothing to work with.

I am struggling to “embrace” these new boobs so please don’t suggest that. I’m ok when I can look down and see a familiar shape. But I hate basically being skin and nipple and nothing else.

Obviously i have no idea of what style or colours you like, but usually "they" (stylists?) recommend a frill for the small of bust.

Thank you Barbara! I’m happy to go with anything that gives me my shape back basically.
I have one very ancient label-less (no idea where from) bikini which has gel inserts - it’s along that line I’m looking for really, and also in a costume if possible...

H&M have ones with gel inserts

Snitchesgetcandy · 07/06/2018 17:45

Adds do a two sizes bigger bra range which work really well, I have a few I use when wearing dresses that need some sort of boob to sit right. I can only find one bikini version online but they may have more in store.

Asda sorry not adds Blush

Also just had a quick look in my draw and I have a one from primark from a range called ‘maximise your assets’ not as much padding as Asda but a lot more than regular bikinis and at the bottom to push up what you have. It’s a couple of years old but I think they probably have a similar range still Smile

Thank you all so much. Feel hopeful now. And I’m sorry, I see this question definitely has been asked before - so that’s given me some more ideas too - but I’m grateful for getting more up to date responses too. And relieved to see from other similar threads that it’s not just me suffering from post-DC-depletion-of-norks. “Oh they’ll balloon!” they said. “Won’t be able to fit back into your old bras!” they said...

Figleaves have a fair few, you can use the search criteria to look for your size in a padded style

BringBiscuits · 08/06/2018 23:43

I posted a similar query recently. Great suggestions and I bought one of the Debenhams striped bikinis a poster suggested. I also got a lovely regatta one. Will try to find link....

BringBiscuits · 08/06/2018 23:52

Can’t find how to copy link but if you look up ‘Bikinis for flat chested figures?’ On here you may find my thread. Loads of great suggestions.

BringBiscuits · 08/06/2018 23:56

Regatta one I liked.

I tried on some lovely Joe Browns ones too. I think pattern definitely helps to fool the eye and detract from lack of curves.

They may come back - mine were like empty paper bags but miraculously refilled after a while. So you never know...

Peanutbuttercups21 · 09/06/2018 08:13

Mine came back bigger about 9 months/a year after I stopped breastfeeding!

Went from a to c without putting on weight

Now edging towards a D as I am getting to middle age Confused

Boobs have a mind of their own

Seafolly are very £££ but good for enhancing shape. Had good push up bikinis from Primark too.

GorgonLondon · 09/06/2018 08:17

Exercise to build up your pecs will really help. push ups and chest presses will give good results quite quickly.

Try maxcleavage - lots of bras and big swimwear selection including gel bikinis.

My bikinis are from Debenhams and give me a more curvy look.

Popskipiekin · 10/06/2018 10:15

Thank you so much for continuing to offer advice, so very kind. I am doing internet shopping as I type! Grin
I do do push ups - about 20 proper ones every morning - maybe I should up this! 20 seems my limit. Ha.
Unfortunately I stopped breastfeeding in October - seems almost too late to hope for a revival. I do weigh less than pre DC but not dramatically, in same clothes etc, and I think most of the loss is boobs! Sad
I’m not going to rush towards a boob job as we are still pseudo considering DC3, but I’m finding the lack of boob/shape very mentally scarring.

There are swimming costume with like a sewn in bra section which would give you a bit more support and shape, and you could probably get padded if you needed it or regular if you are just after the bra support..

Don't worry about your boobs, you have had a baby, wear your swimming costume and have fun at the beach or pool or where ever you are...anybody who is looking close enough at your boobs to judge is an oddball in my opinion, Grin

Liesmyparentstoldme · 10/06/2018 10:26

I'd second debenhams. I've previously got a bikini from there that has lots of gel padding. It really boosted my boobs.

Thingywhatsit · 10/06/2018 10:36

Look at Debenhams own range - think it's called ultimate? prior to having my last dc I brought some lovely ones with gel stuff which actually gave me boobs! And looked quite natural. Felt a bit wierd when they were wet from swimming but apart from that were ace. Typically I then got pregnant and I no longer fit them 🙁🙁😮😮
