Dress help Wanted for tall larger ladies Debenhams Principles North

Hello lovely Mumsnetters I am after a dress for a special event I am 6ft tall and trying to loose weight frantically but I am still a portly size 22.

I really like the two dresses below but they are out of stock in my size and my local Debenhams only has them in a 20 which ashamedly won’t fasten. Please could I ask anyone in the north/north west or Scotland as far as Edinburgh Glasgow if their local store has either of these dresses in, in a 22 please? If you let me know I can phone the store and then visit as they won’t transfer. Many thanks

Or failing that has anyone seen anything similar style midi length or maxi as long as these, cut style that would fit a tall cat person such as myself please? I prefer to hide my knees ( I love coral, jade green, red, purple, yellow).

I have exhausted Dorothy Perkins, Monsoon, Phase 8/Studio and Long Tall Sally, ASOS Tall.

Isabel London has great dresses. I’m tall too, their length is perfect for us tall ladies. They also sell through Debenhams and Roman Originals.

not in the tall range but the model is 5' 8 and it nearly reaches her ankles. It's quite similar to the priciples one?

Thanks all I went back to Debenhams yesterday with a determined attitude, my daughter and (after exercising and cutting down for the last three-four weeks) and I actually managed to get into one of my original choice dresses (with her help). Thanks for all your help so if I keep up the good work between now and my event which I am determined to do I will be ok. I still have two ASOS dresses on their way to try but I think I have found my dress. I love and suit the colours so don’t feel I am settling and the cut is fairly flattering on a large/tall lady. I have some sandals, a bag, a bangle and a pashmina that will go and I have treated myself to some statement earrings that will look nice so a trip to the hairdressers and a new coral lipstick and I am good to go. Thanks for all your help lovely mumsnetters.

Thanks BigFatBloomers slimmer/smaller shoppers have so much more choice for outfits to socialise in. I have lost another 5lb in the last 4 weeks but I am doing it on my own no fad diets or slimming clubs and exercising much more with the aid of a Fitbit. :-)
I can’t reduce my height but I aim to reduce my middle.
