Make up for wedding

Help!

I'm a (well, the) bridesmaid for my sister's wedding at the end of next month and obviously want to look my best (as much as possible, anyway!).

I don't normally wear much make up, other than lipstick and mascara if I'm going out but want to do something different for a special occasion.

As I don't usually wear much make up, I have no idea what to do. I have mascara but don't really know what else to do with my eyes,

I'm a redhead so pale skin and freckles, with brown eyes. I'm wearing a mint green dress.

Any ideas for eye make up that isn't too complicated for a someone who isn't used to doing much make up wise?

TIA!

I would suggest a little cream eye shadow, maybe a nice brown with copper under tones to compliment your eyes. MACs paint pots last all day, I would recommend going in and finding a colour you like and having one of the girls show you how to put it on (it doesn’t have to be MAC btw). I would suggest trying to wear it every day so you get used to putting it on and getting a good shape. Cream shadows are good because you don’t need a brush, but you can use one if you want.

I would keep it simple, and make sure you practise lots before the day. Hope it all goes well, I’m sure you and the bride will both be beautiful.

I would honestly just stick to the usual. Wear a good mascara and your favourite lipstick. That will genuinely be enough, you'll feel relaxed but look like you've made an effort!

newbiegreenfingers Thank you for the tips! I will take a trip into town at the weekend and see what there is. I very rarely wear eyeshadow (and nothing exciting when I do) but I've never even thought to use a cream eyeshadow so will definitely take a look at what is around. Sadly I don't think my budget will stretch to MAC!

The bride will definitely look beautiful (she always does!) but not so sure about me, I will try my best, however!

Clionba I know what you're saying but I think I'll feel like I haven't really put in any effort if I wear what I normally wear and then I'll feel more self conscious, IYSWIM?
