When I was about 14, I had a belt. It was made of fabric of some sort of soft web and had, I think, slight elastication in it. It had a sort of 'snap' fastening, rather than a buckle, and in our neck of the woods was known as a 'mod belt'.

I want something similar, ie: a belt that isn't leather/plastic but is nice and soft. A buckle would be fine; it doesn't have to have the snap fastening.

Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?!

I do - was just trying my old ones on for a wedding outfit! I call them stretchy belts. Have you googled?

dementedpixie · 06/06/2018 19:58

Is that those snake belts?

Binkybix · 06/06/2018 20:00

Sorry can’t do links, but google ‘elasticated belt’ and M&S have one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/06/2018 20:02

Thank you all.

The M&S one isn't what I have in mind, sorry - it's too wide. Want one to wear with jeans.

It was like this belt. Ideally, I think that sort of thing but with a buckle is what I'm wanting.

I bought one like this called an S Belt off eBay.

4mogirl · 06/06/2018 20:44

Is it like this? I just typed ‘fabric belt’ on eBay.

I call them snake buckle or S-buckle belts. Fat Face sometimes have them, but in the children's section, which may be too narrow for you?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/06/2018 20:49

That's it! But now I've found this, I think I want something more like this one!

Thanks, everyone!

Amazon and eBay have loads on if you search snake belt

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/06/2018 20:50

Two years ago, children's would have been perfect for me, but am sadly bigger than that now.

belts

Any of these?

Binkybix · 06/06/2018 20:56

Ah - I rediscovered some of these too!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/06/2018 21:07

Think I'll look at the M&S one as a starting point. Cba with ordering online.
