What shall I do with my eyebrows?

I over plucked them in my teens so they’re thinner than I’d like.

I used to go to a lady to shape them but she got a bit tweezer happy and I want to avoid any more hair loss.

Shall I get them threaded? Isn’t threading more or less the same as tweezing/waxing?

What shall I do with my eyebrows?

I’ve had better experience with waxing than threading as they do virtually the same thing but waxing hurts less and lasts longer. I would just visit another beautician and get them waxed, and explain you want to avoid more hair loss

They don’t look thin at all IMO!

My DD uses a brow gel to improve shape. It fills in where they are a bit thin.

What about that veet eyebrow shaper thing?

Mountainsoutofmolehills · 06/06/2018 17:39

I'd do nothing other than the middle bit... I love big eye brows.. If you do decide to do something, pay £10 and get it done... or wait.....

BusterGonad · 06/06/2018 18:35

I would pluck all the straglers underneath as I imagine that they make your eyes look smaller. Your eyebrows are nice and full so they just need a shape.

Dancergirl · 06/06/2018 20:02

Thank you, I did think about the stragglers underneath but was scared to pluck them in case I overdid it!

If I were you I'd get them done professionally and then follow the shape they've given you!

Dancergirl · 06/06/2018 22:19

buster do you mean at one of those brow bars?

Yes I do. Obviously check out their brows first!!!

happymummy12345 · 08/06/2018 09:32

I used to get mine threaded but it was like torture for me. It hurt and my eyes watered loads.
I was adamant I'd never ever have them waxed as I was sure it'd hurt. However I tried it and it was the complete opposite of what I expected. It's quick, easy and pain free. I love it.
Based on that I'd try having them waxed.

Have a good look around at local places. You would benefit from HD brows. A good shape and tint. Tell the beautician you want them as full as possible in a good shape.
Then keep regulars appointments with no plucking in between.
Have a look at their pictures too on their Instagram etc.

itsbetterthanabox · 08/06/2018 09:50

Get them shaped (wax or thread whatever you prefer they do the same)
Find someone well recommended and ask to keep them full and natural but just tidy. Go monthly and don't pluck in between.

QueenoftheNights · 08/06/2018 10:06

You actually have very thick eyebrows- twice as thick as mine!
You need a tidy up with some hairs taken out from the underside of them- never the top edge. You could do this yourself with tweezers if you are confident.

Thank you. Are Blink Brow Bars any good?
