Which are nicer? Richmond or Rachel Boden Shorts?

I'm still struggling with my holiday wardrobe :/

Has anyone either of these shorts? Or found any from anywhere else that are nice? Im 5ft so don't want them too long.

I ordered both to try, kept the Rachels. Richmond was nice, but felt a bit hemmed in in them somehow. I love Richmond trousers, and the sizing was fine, they just didn’t feel as good on me.

The H&M short chino shorts are really nice and this is from someone who normally doesn’t suit shorts at all. They are cotton with just enough stretch, nice length and pockets in the right place.

Ive just sent back the 4 inch Rachel’s today. Hated them - the material was so thick and they were just awful and frumpy on me. My best ever shorts were £12 from H&M!

These are so good I might buy another pair in the same colour in case I wear them out

I have a pair of each for my holidays.

Richmond are more tailored and a more 'formal' fabric. Rachel are chino style and lighter weight but still on the smart side. I have both in the 4" leg.

If I HAD to chose just one pair I'd go with the Rachel. That may partly be to do with the colour though - I have the citrus yellow and it's beautiful.

My Richmonds are navy so more conservative.

I love both. Shorts are one thing Boden excel at.

These are my Rachel shorts. I really like them. These are the shortest length (3). I haven’t tried the Richmond ones so can’t really compare.
