Interview clothes

So, after being roundly slated on Monday night for my appalling interview wardrobe, I'm here for advice.

Smart casual (the interview panel were wearing scruffy jeans and one had a white aertex, the other a violent green checked shirt.)

I would wear either dark blue jeans or black jeans. I also have black linen trousers (from Next).

I have a jacket that I was advised to put in the bin Grin

None of my shirts from before DC fit me anymore Sad Whilst I don't seem to have put too much weight on, I do seem to have changed shape and do need to start to watch what I eat. Relatively non existent in the chest department (b cup)

I have a relatively long body, so most normal shirts are actually a bit too short for me and leave a gap between trousers and bottom of shirt.

I have sweat issues, which are the best colours to hide this, which colours should I avoid? For this reason, I only want cotton shirts.

What it the job for?

I can’t advise on your current wardrobe, but I have long back problems, and hace recently discovered Gap Tall range (online, not a specific section, but a size option on many tops). It’s also very generous in the chest and very reasonably priced if you sign up for emails - they send 25-40% off several times a week.

The office of a lab, so being too smart would stand out like a sore thumb. A plain, collared proper shirt would look out of place.
Thanks for the gap tip. I've found a fair number of longer shirts but very few women's stuff seems to be cotton.

Hi OP, I have just bought this shirt which is 100% cotton. Most of the shirts seem to be.
