What does your 13yo DS wear for smart occasions

My 13YO DS is to be godfather at my nieces christening next month and I’ve no idea what he should/could wear. The suits I’ve looked at on Next are nice and I think he’d look great, but most likely he won’t think so! Plus, it’s about £90 (inc shoes) I’d need to spend on top of school uniform that month , for something he won’t get any other wear out of.

What do you think is acceptable at his age?

i think rather than a matching suit, he will likely grow out of, to buy some good chinos and a smart shirt, which you can pair up with a blazer which he can use with jeans another tie.. If he isn't really a blazer boy.... i dont think christenings are 'wedding attire', and chinos for summer look smart and can be worn many times.
