And in what order please!

Just trying to work out what products I maybe should / shouldn't be using / if I'm missing a key part of my 'beauty' regime... (I have no clue!! - advice on mine would also be appreciated, thank you!!)

I'll start:
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum
Nivea Face Moisturiser
Region Colorstay Foundation
No 7 Mascara
Vaseline Lip Balm
Rimmel Cover Up Stick Concealer (if necessary)

OP posts:
Jozxyqk · 05/06/2018 20:40

Sukin foaming face wash, with a clean face cloth every day.
Rose water (as a toner) with cotton wool pad
The Ordinary vitamin c 23% - don't like it, am using up then switching to something else.
Hada Labo Amber serum
Clinique All about Eyes - the light version
La Roche Posay light moisturising lotion - discontinued
Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50

Usually, makeup if I'm leaving the house (CBA if staying in!):
No7 tubing mascara
Clinique chubby stick blush
Illamasqua slick stick eyeliner
Possibly a nude eyeshadow... W7 usually. Cheap.
Lip colour - rimmel vanilla scented chubby stick thing in nude pink or cool red, also discontinued (why do companies do this with the best products!?)
Lancome or Stila concealer

Skincare takes about 20 mins. Makeup takes 2, & I carry spares of everything plus a mirror in my handbag so can do most of it as I dash out /in a public loo anyway...

queenofkale · 05/06/2018 20:40

Micellar water garnier
Elimis pro collagen cleanser
Creme La mere moisturiser (gift from DH)

The ordinary serum foundation ( moved from the touché eclat/Charlotte tilbury foundation and its only £6 and almost as good)
Touché éclat YSL
Nars orgasm stick Blush
Charlotte tilbury glow and bronze
Mac eye shadow
Benefit eyebrow wax pencil
Dior addict it lash
Burts bees lip balm

Lotsofsausage · 05/06/2018 20:43

superdrug hot cloth cleanser
superdrug glycolic acid
The ordinary natural moisturising factors with HA
make up:
Origins vitazing tinted moisturiser with SPF
Garnier under eye roll on (used to fork out on touch éclat but this is just as good)
Estee Lauder double wear sera smudge liquid eyeliner and mascara

Jozxyqk · 05/06/2018 20:46

Ah forgot eyebrows - still new at doing anything to them. NYX powder eyebrow product thing.

Japanesejazz · 05/06/2018 20:46

I have a wash.
Molten and brown under eye thing
No 7 moisturiser with SPF
Err that’s it?
I got age checked in Asda not long ago
I’m 45 😂

Mashandbangers · 05/06/2018 20:56

Rinse with water and IKEA flannel, throw flannel straight in wash (they’re about 50p for a bizzilion)
Sudocrem around nose and chin as primer No 7 CC
Garner B.B.
L’Oréal eyebrow gel
No 7 Scarlett lippy or plain lip gloss dependant on mood.

However I do a full double cleanse, moisturiser, serum with Environ the night before so feel I don’t need moisturiser in the day (and it makes foundation slide).

Used to wear a sun cream but CC and B.B. are both factor 20 so think that was overkill

Full face day is a whole other story 😂

lavalamp08 · 05/06/2018 20:58

Water, that's it Shock

Japanesejazz · 05/06/2018 21:02

Bad lurmann advice was don’t mess too much with your hair. I feel the same advice may be good for your face. I never go out in the sun for an extended period of time unless I am wearing a hat. Neither does Joan Collins she looks alright. If your face wasn’t exposed to the sun it would be as smooth as your bum cheeks. I heard that somewhere once!

Japanesejazz · 05/06/2018 21:03

Baz! Smart phone?

Mashandbangers · 05/06/2018 21:10

@jazz yup my dermatologist when I said I smoked tutted ‘we all have our bad habits’. When I said I used sunbeds she had a fit 😳
Never used one since...

makeupmaven · 05/06/2018 21:13

Here's mine! Smile

Clean & Clear face wash
Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser
La Roche Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Sun Cream (SPF50)
Urban Decay De-Slick Primer or Kiko Matte Face Base
Bourjois City Radiance Foundation or Charlotte Tilbury Unisex Healthy Glow (on low makeup days)
YSL Touche Eclat
ELF Beautifully Bare Powder
Kiko Jungle Jelly Bronzer in the metallic finish (from their new summer collection - highly recommended!)
Chanel Les Beiges Cream Blush or... Primark Mineral Glow Blush (I love it!!)
MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter in gold
Wunderbrow Brow Gel in blonde
Chanel Les Beiges Eyeshadow Palette in deep
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Boy
Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray
...And then finally whatever mascara is lying on my floor!

TheMonkeyMummy · 05/06/2018 21:14

I am
genuinely surprised by these lists!

I am another simple regime. I don't wash my face with anything special but I use antidandruff shampoo and body shop grapefruit shower gel.

I then use body shop grapefruit body butter.

And a soap and glory mascara as the finishing touch.

TheMonkeyMummy · 05/06/2018 21:17

@Japanesejazz Interesting about the hair. I was recently considering the no poo movement as my scalp has become flaky over the years and I wondered about doing a reset.

madcatladyforever · 05/06/2018 21:19

I wash my face with soap and water - non allergenic.
I have extremely dry skin, always have had and am allergic to every known fancy face cream known to man so I buy nivea soft face cream and it is perfect for my skin and doesn't make my eyes water.
I leave it to sink in for 10 minutes then I use colour me beautiful Morning Light light diffusing foundation which makes my 50 year old skin look amazing and a dusting of powder.
This foundation doesn't settle into wrinkles or look heavy.
Tried primer but it didn't make any difference.

YouWereRight · 05/06/2018 21:23

Rinse my face with a flannel and water.
Use either the nip & fab post glycolic fix SPF moisturiser, or the soap and glory SPF 50 thing.
Olay tinted moisturiser.
A splodge of NYX concealer under my eyes, and on any spots.
Swipe some yellow eyes shadow ever my eyes, and then something else in the crease.
Mascara, either L'Oriel miss Hippie or eyeko black magic.
Fitch bit of NYX blush.
NYX mute lipstick.

Japanesejazz · 05/06/2018 21:29

Whenever I get a flaky scalp I stop using a hair dryer. I only wash my hair 3 times a week and use a tiny amount of shampoo but lots of conditioner except on the roots.

angelroad · 05/06/2018 21:32

I'm sure I use too many products, but do notice a difference without one of them!

Sanoflore acqua magnifica (I think...) face wash
Superdrug glycolic acid
Clinique Moisture Surge spray (but I'm going to try the Superdrug one when it runs out)
LRP Hydraphase eye gel
LRP Redermic C
Vichy Mineral 89
Clarins Blue Orchid oil
LRP Effaclar Duo tinted
LRP Anthelios SPF 50

Then Clarins Instant Concealer, Charlotte Tilbury powder, & other stories cream blusher, Clinique lash power mascara, NYX powder brow pencil and L'Oréal tinted brow gel stuff. With whatever lipstick I'm wearing that day as pretty much the only variable.

Keeptrudging · 05/06/2018 21:34

Wash face with water in shower.
Olay total effects moisturiser.
That's it.

pangolina · 05/06/2018 21:34

Nivea face wash, serum, and day cream.
Rimmel wake me up foundation
Benefit erase paste
Bourjois blusher
Lancome or Bourjois mascara
Natural collection eyebrow gel

bridgetosomewhere · 05/06/2018 21:39

Simple toner to clean
Nivea moisturiser with spf
Blusher
Concealer if required

goose1964 · 05/06/2018 21:45

I don't do anything everyday.

Alternate days approx bee good honey and propolis hot cloth cleanser.
Moisturiser if my skin feels tight, superdrug vitamin E. If it's flaky St Ives face scrub.

Evening a couple of times a week cleanse as per morning and glycolic serum.

If going out I used a BB cream or facial sunscreen.

I rarely wear makeup and don't go out of the house every day. I also live in the countryside so my face doesn't really get dirty.

If I'm in a city I cleanse morning and night.
