Non-maternity wear

Looking for tips please. I am about 6.5 months pregnant and feeling the heat. I want to buy some loose t-shirts and dresses that will fit me now but also when I'm back to original size (so not maternity wear that seems inherently baggy). I'm a size 10 and had been wearing stretchy T-shirts and non-maternity loose summery trousers but it's now getting too tight! If I were to buy new dresses to get me through the summer which material and style would you suggest? I'm not fussy, just economical with my money! Thanks!

Boden is good for this type of thing as they have lots of Jersey dresses which are stretchy and with an empire or adjustable waistline which you can wear above your bump.

This could work:
m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-dresses/day-dresses/j0213-grn/womens-sapling-jemma-jersey-dress

Or this:

m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-dresses/day-dresses/j0157-str/womens-ivory_navy-stripe-arabella-jersey-dress

Or this:
m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-dresses/day-dresses/j0122-grn/womens-foliage-ditsy-woodblock-margot-jersey-dress

Or:

I'm expecting No. 3 and never really needed maternity wear as such other than trousers and jeans with my last two. It makes much more sense to buy normal stuff that you'll get more wear out of!

I’m 32 weeks and have been wearing stretchy stroppy midi dresses from ore oregnancy which have done me quite well!

Or skater style dresses with the waist just under boob so it can go over bump

Ah thank you both, this is enough to get me through 2 months. I will follow your advice, glad I'm not the only one thinking long-term!

With my summer born I managed to find maxi dresses in primark that were elasticated under the boobs. I bought one in every colour and wore them to death (casual dress code at work though) they seem to bring out the same or similar styles every year so you should find some.

I will have a look for those in Primark, thanks. They seem to be good for that stretchy material for normal wear!

Since it’s summer I would get some maxi dresses in a stretchy jersey fabric. I have a great one from Monsoon - v neck so my boobs won’t get squashed or fall out, flows straight down from under the bust. I have it in a size 8 and am pretty sure a pregnancy bump would fit under it!
