We used to go to a LOT of weddings but I’m feeling a bit out of the game since I had my kids.
Context: summer wedding, v boho and crafty, in a village church and then marquee in nearby field. Will be full of crafty boho whippersnappers.
I’m mid-thirties, 12-14, about 5’7”. I always used to wear dresses rather than separates to weddings, usually Damsel in a Dress/Monsoon/Whistles/Boden/Coast etc. I’ve worn midi skirts and beaded tops to a couple when I needed to bf, but now I feel like I’ve lost my way. What are people wearing to weddings now?! How can I be comfortable and stylish and ever-so-slightly vintage-boho-chic without going too far the other way? I tend to default to navy with champagne/blush accessories, and I need to get out of a rut!
Off-limits: retro/Lindy Bop, v short dresses, v high heels, strapless, spaghetti straps (need to wear a bra.)
Please give me some inspiration!!
