Need help with what to wear for a night out

I'm going out for a meal and cocktails for my best friends 40th in London and I have no idea what to wear. I'm 5ft 1 and 8st 12 but got a mum tum. Please help me! I love in dresses but think jeans and some sort of going out type top will be more suitable. Might even have to wear heels although I'm pretty crap in heels!

Find out if jeans are allowed in the venues you will be going to.

I'm 41, 5'3" ish & size 12-14; on nights out I either wear skinny jeans & a glam top (such as a cami) with heels or a shorter dress with heels.

With your figure you would suit a dress, maybe with a bit of rouched fabric to hide any hint of a tum. I do that although my tum is due to food not Mum tum iyswim!

The heels I wear currently are wedges from River Island which are easy to walk in (not their highest offerings!).

Thank you. I really struggle to find nice tops.

I bought a pretty beaded cami from River Island for £40, got a floral cami from Dorothy Perkins for about £20.

Thank you will have a look. River island isn't a shop I would normally go to but will do. Thank you.

A nice casual-looking playsuit could be glammed up with jewellery and heels, and will also hide the mum tum! Asos have loads of different styles

How about something like this with skinny jeans and heels www.riverisland.com/p/pink-sequin-floral-embellished-cami-top-715229
