Family work day, what do I wear!

I really need some help please!

I have a family day at DH's work in a few weeks time.

It is at a kind of wedding type venue in London, dress code is summer casual. Not really a dress type of thing. There will be a band and some family activities and also some for adults like beer pong.

I've been looking in the shops today but have no clue what to buy.

I'm a size 12-14, usually wear black so thinking maybe neutrals or navy blue?

Any ideas will be gratefully received!

Rolled up chinos, or paperbag peg leg trousers, nice sandals. Loose cami top tucked in. Drapey cardi. Cross body bag.

I'm imagining navy / olive green / khaki chinos with tan belt, black or white cami, black or white cardi. Tan bag & sandals.

That's exactly the type of look I was thinking. I was just worried that everyone would be there in silk trousers, floaty tops and I'd look too casual.

Sounds much better when someone else described it

I'm meeting all my DH's fellow directors and co-workers and just really want to make sure I look ok.

Would tan wedges be ok?
