Or eye in this case I struggle to find eye shadow that brings out my eyes they look grey when my makeup is on . This is in bright light hence the ghostly skin!

Avoid green or blue tones. They will mask the colour of your eyes rather than bring it forward.

Dark purple is the best eye shadow colour for green eyes. Experiment with purple and brown tones.

I have similar greeny grey yes, I wear smokey grey or green for nights out /weekends and a bronze for work. Dark purple can work. Black eyeliner and red lips makes the eye colour pop. And weirdly recently discovered that wearing blue does too, who knew!

It is a myth that green shadows do not work. They enhance my eyes fantastically.

I like subtle makeup, though. Perhaps plastering it on might cause the eyes to be masked, as you put it. Lol

I have brown eyes with a lot of green in them and maroon type colours make them pop.

Following on - could someone confirm the colour of my eyes please? Blue? Grey? Green? I'm stuck and also struggle with eye make up because I don't know what colour my eyes are!

Lexjo I call mine grey-green but I think yours are a tiny bit more green than mine.

Lexjo yours look green , but might look bluer in certain lights ?

Thanks both. I've always thought they were blue until someone says they were green the other day. They do change color under different light, which makes it even harder with eye make up.

Green-on-green doesn't enhance anything, just like blue-on-blue doesn't. Any makeup professional will tell you the same.

Having said that, do what you want with your face. It's not like I care. Here, you have a wee face from me, too >>

I’d say they’re grey but with green around the pupil. Probably purple or copper eye make up would bring out the green part if you wanted to do that.
