Help me! Will a plain black dress work for a fairly smart interview?

I have an interview on Monday, have been told to dress smartly. I am skint. I will not need to wear smart clothes at all after the interview, so buying something wouldn't be an investment.

I have a plain black Boden Blackberry dress, will that cut it? Is it okay that it has short sleeves? It will be hot.

I have no suitable shoes, can I get something from Primark? (I am very tall and the mearest hint of a heel turns me into Bambi on ice).

Nude or opaque tights? Bearing in mind I have a tattoo on my leg.

Any other tips? Am clueless.

Dress it up a bit with a colourful scarf or some chunky beads?

I would say it would be fine. Nude tights. Smart black (low heeled) shoes from Primark. Some discreet jewellery (nice ear-studs, plain bangle) and maybe a smart but bright scarf so you don't look as though you're off to a funeral?
