Colours “done” and eye makeup

I recently got my colours done, which was great.

I wondered though what advice others had about using those colours for eye makeup? I ask as have brown hair and eyes and was told not to wear brown, but wear navy/grey instead. This is going against what I’ve always done though.

I can never tell with eye makeup what looks good anyway.

Brown with brown. Book yourself in at a department store and ask them to help

So you were something cool? You should suit the same colours as makeup as clothes.
There are taupey browns though, grey browns. You really need to avoid the yellowy earthy ones, but many browns are actually coolish.

Why don’t you try a cheap grey and see how it looks?
