How does one get their style back? I was looking at some old photos, three years back, and I had a real glow. Now I’m a single mum, I feel bedraggled and I look at myself very negatively at times. What can I do to give me my oomph back? I have good hair, good skin, overweight but tall so it doesn’t look too bad. I have gotten rid of loads of clothes so don’t have a huge wardrobe now. I’m not sure whether anyone can help but how did you get your groove back? I’d love to know how people did this?

Aloha! I found this too I'm 30 with two children . Work in a pharmacy and attend uni part time so I find myself just wearing leggings new balance and a sweat too for lectures . I love Pinterest at the min it's great for inspiration then I go looking for stuff on ASOS , and eBay to try and recreate a few looks . Primark is good too at the moment for basic summer stuff linen shorts and a float Camisole, if ur tall u can get away with murder! a nice set of wedges, and a straw hat is my jam these days with this nice weather . Get on the Pinterest and find one beautiful outfit u can wear during day and go from there . Build a few staples up food quality tk max designers etc .

I have felt like this after 3dcs and years spent pregnant and breastfeeding. First thing I did was get to my goal
Weight then pare back my wardrobe. I recently spent a day in a London going in all the shops - including the ones I never go in - just to get an idea of styles/try things on. I’ve Also started to look at magazines/pay attention to what other women are wearing. In my head I have a mental shopping list.
Getting to goal weight has really helped as clothes just look better on me

Thank you, I seem to be looking at an awful lot of Jennifer Aniston pics as she seems have the casual style I want. I also do the leggings thing but I’m going to try and get a decent comfy pair of jeans so I can avoid that. Body brushing and doing all beauty stuff seems to be getting me a bit more confidence. Now need a nice new wardrobe.

That's seems to be the way to go start with the bare bones . One really beautiful pair of jeans that fit u perfectly .and go from there... go through ur wardrobe and get rid of anything that u haven't worn in a long time n ask urself do I feel nice when I wear this? Obv we all have to keep some sweats etc for school run and cleaning the house but , I personally like it when majority of my stuff can all mix n match and makes me feelreasonably nice when I wear them.
