are jersey blazers 'over'?

I'm an apple, size 14 after nearly a year of 5:2 and c25k/5k210k, but still very much an apple

On a pinterest style guide, blazers were recommended, and I've spotted a pink one in esprit, and a navy on look again, which would kind of suit my 'uniform' /capsule wardrobe, sort of smart/casual for non-corporate, client-facing and office

but all the style guides seem to be from years ago, so not sure if I've missed the boat, (whilst languishing as a size 16/18 hide myself in cardi's gal for the past few years)

any advice from you style and beauty mavens?

I like blazers and think they’re timeless but I also have no idea about fashion and just wear what suits me and I like!

Jersey blazers are over. But a blazer in a wool cotton blend is fine. Just not jersey.

Christ hope not, just purchased third Whistles one ( different colours).
Also have a linen blazer.

God I'm so behind the times. I've literally only discovered jersey blazers this week and bought one, congratulating myself for being so on trend for once.

I only started wearing skinny jeans last year as well, only to read on here that they're on their way out as well.
