I was thinking something like The Sanctuary in the good old days , meeting an old school friend for a day of quiet luxury.
Ideally somewhere without kids, we're leaving ours at home, so maybe not a hotel type place.
I'm coming from the south, she's from north so needs to be fairly central.
Budget about £150 each.
Any recommendations?
