ok.

  1. Look young for my age (so I'm told) but I've lost a LOT of weight very quickly (not a stealth boast - have been ill) and it's taken its toll on my skin.

Skin dry in general - have treated myself to some Laura Mercier Space NK stuff had to remortgage the house but I now need

  1. Foundation (natural, with a bit of warmth and sheen)
  2. Hand cream (hands very dehydrated and look like an old lady's)

I'm getting my eyebrows done on Friday for the first time in ages somewhere highly recommended and won't make me look like someone has done them with a magic marker

What would the vipers of S&B recommend?

Oh and a high level of SPF if possible. That hasn't helped the skin texture.

For foundation try Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue tinted moisturiser. It is more like a foundation than a tint and great on skin of a certain age.

Have fun.

Makeup Revolution Fast Base foundation stick. (£5)
Coconut, Shea Butter or Jojoba Oil, for the hands.

I have tried loads of hand creams recently and the one I've liked most is Bioderma Atoderm Mains from Boots, it's quite cheap. On the cheaper end of foundations I have liked Bourjois Healthy Mix, doesn't come in many colours though. Boots No.7 Stay Perfect is a very good light foundation, similar to Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.

Bobbi brown hand cream

Highly recommend Jane Iredale BB cream - it’s mineral makeup so no nasties, with SPF 50, and very natural looking (no clagging likd some mineral makeups seem to).

For hands, Neal’s Yard Remedies Citrus Hand Softener is a miracle worker - not remotely greasy, absorbs quickly, but restores chapped hands really quickly (amd smells wonderful).

Bare minerals for your face.

Hand cream- anything thick and apply over night.

Benefit high beam will give your skin some nice glow, but use sparklingly and build it up.

Lip gloss I finding fresher than lipstick if I’m feeling drab.

L’occitain hand cream the shea butter one.

This powder is a bit pricey but genuinely gives me a glow I don’t deserve:

Will update with a pic later - thank you so much.

I bought everything in Bare Minerals and then went to Space NK and am currently remortgaging the house
