What does everyone swear by? I like smashbox's 'always on' liner in 'bubbly' for the inner corners of my eyes to make me look more awake. I also like bare minerals flawless mascara for a pared down, casual look, but could maybe do with something more dramatic.

Here am i repping for the ones on a budget Grin

Skincare: anything from superdrug’s own brands, vit e, natural radiance etc - all their own brand skincare stuff is cruelty free, reasonably priced and brilliant.

Barry m for nail stuff, their mascara doesn’t budge either.

Revolution/mua/freedom at superdrug for eyeshadown palettes. Freedom brow pomade, once that’s on it goes NOWHERE.

Poundland own brand makeup is apparently cruelty free. Ok hear me out tho: poundland liquid eyeliner is the fucking bomb diggity. Honestly. You might need to apply with your own brush though.

Oh! Barry m lip stuff - the matte me up liquid lipsticks are lovely and i nearly always have someone asking me ‘what lipstick is that’ when i wear them. And the colour changing lipsticks, they’re more like a stain and they change colour with your skin ph on application for like a slightly enhanced but natural looking lip colour - i like the yellow to pinky one in summer and the blue to purply one in winter.

Oh had no idea Barry m was cruelty free! Will have a look!

Yes! Barry m is and always has been cruelty free - previously cruelty free drugstore brands like rinmel have gone back to animal testing in order to sell in china, but not barrym, which is why i like to show them some love.

The B range at superdrug is great and cruelty free as is the Rosie for Autograph at M & S.

Goosegettingfat · 30/05/2018 21:42

I have to say I recently tried a mascara from rosie@m&s and it was shit. Sadly.

Superdrug Optimum skin care (I use the 40+ one)

BarryM metallics eyeliner pencil

Mally mascara

As I'm on here , I need a new antiperspirant, I use the Superdrug roll on and sadly it isn't working in the hot weather Shock

Anyone tried the Lush ones? Are they worth a go, or should I try H&B?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/06/2018 18:57

In answer to my own question above ^^ about anti-perspirant ....

I got a Schmiidt Deoderant stick (£8 from Urban Outfitters ) bit Shock at the price but HeyHo.
I've had reactions in the past some some brands , really itchy horrible skin .

So, it's really good, and even though its a deoderant rather than an antiperspirant , I don't sweat with it . (Mine is charcoally menthol )

I don;t think it'll work on holiday though, it melts on skin contac so it'd be a watery mess by the time I unpack. I'll scout out a roll-on that is up to it .
