Has anyone tried the new St Tropez Pre shower mousse?

I noticed this on offer yesterday in Boots and am tempted to try it. It says to put it on before you shower, leave for one minute then go in shower and rinse off. It's a gradual one. I'm tempted to try it but wondered if anyone has already and if it's any good or a waste of money.

Thanks!

I tried the in shower one but to be honest it didn't really do much.

Howaboutthisone · 30/05/2018 13:44

I've tried that one too but like the idea of the pre shower one.

If you try it let us know what it's like x

I love the idea of a pre shower one!

My main objection to fake tans is having that "dirty" feeling for however many hours it takes to work.

I'm off to read reviews. OP, do let us know if you decide to try it.

I bought this yesterday on offer in Boots. I'm giving it a go tonight but I can't work out whether to use shower gel in the shower afterwards or not. It doesn't say specifically (advises to just shower as usual) but surely I'd be washing it straight off?
Does anyone know?

Pinkvici22 · 30/05/2018 16:03

I bought it but have only tried it once and can’t say I noticed a difference (I’m quite tanned though!). It’s easier to use than the in shower cream.

I wouldn’t use shower gel after it.

Howaboutthisone · 30/05/2018 16:09

I've bought and will be using this evening or tomorrow. I'll report back!

Ooh will watch with interest!

I went into Boots today and it was £14.50 with a 3for2 offer. On their website it's £9 also with a 3for2 offer.
I managed to get 3 bottles for £12.71 but I'm not quite sure how 😂
Pick it up tomorrow

Similar product is the Superdrug ten minute tan. I got this a few weeks ago. You apply like a normal fake tan lotion (with a mitt), leave on ten minutes and then shower off. I use shower gel after using it and it develops into a nice brown colour with no messy bed sheets or clothes. I’ve been impressed so far and felt it lasted a while and didn’t notice any patchiness. You can also leave it on an hour if you want a darker colour.

It’s cheaper and cruelty free too :)

I've got it! I like it - it is very gradual so I On my really saw a difference on the 2nd and 3rd application rather than the first. Very easy to apply. Even though you on my need to leave it on for 1 minute before showering, when you do go in the shower it comes off really dark, like a spray tan. Love The fact it doesn't mark my bed sheets!

lisam78 · 30/05/2018 17:44

Sorry about the typos - typing on phone!

Howaboutthisone · 04/06/2018 21:40

I quite like it. It's definitely more for those of us who are pale and looking to build up a colour very gradually as it doesn't go much darker until several applications but it has given me less milk bottle legs! Don't love it as much as my claims facial drops though- now they are amazing!

Agree re the superdrug one being great.

9GreenBottles · 05/06/2018 05:02

Do either the St Tropez or Superdrug leave the fake tan smell after showering?
