I am not good at the whole outfit thing so can someone help please?

I have this dress and shoes and have no idea what kind of bag I should have. Should it match the shoes?

For me this is very dressed up and so I'm a bit lost.

I would think a blue or cream coloured bag would be fabulous. Great dress!
