Is it just the colour or it being lower down or the curlyness I always see on the pictures too?

It's done by hand, so not with foils and more free hand colour and blends better (no obvious line of regrowth)

Balayage is just the name of the particular colour application technique that give the effect of the light ends blended up into a darker colour near the roots. It's often shown wavy/curly as the colour tends to look better than it does on straight hair.

Thank you! ! Has confused me a lotlot I've seen some horror stories of it being done badly so unsure of wHethersett to have it done.

Done badly it can unfortunately look like a dip dye!

And it only really looks good when you've just come out of the hairdressers/ spent masses of time on it in a morning. On Day 2 for example, it just looks like you've got really greasy dark roots / very old dip dye.

Absolutely not true for me. I love mine because it always looks good and is so easy to style, so perfect lazy style

I do go to a ludicrously expensive hairdresser though

I love balayage. It means I can be fairly blonde even though my hair is naturally dark. My hairdresser is fab though and always does a brilliant job.
